My greatest hope is for you to feel seen, connected and understood.
My Approach
With 15 years of clinical experience, I have developed a strong psychotherapy practice; I work with children, youth, families and adults.
My practice values are grounded in an anti-oppressive, decolonizing, gender-affirming and trauma-informed framework. I rely on a Relational approach, whereby I focus on building a trusting relationship as our foundation so that we can move through your challenges safely.
With families, I predominantly use Emotion-Focused Family Therapy to assist them to strengthen their communication, support children with regulation and restore mental wellness.
I also offer an Emotion-Focused Parent group for those who would benefit from working with and learning from others.
My approach integrates:
Emotion-Focused Therapy
Brief Solution-Focused Therapy
Narrative Therapy
I use a curious, non-judgemental stance, and collaborate with you, working through questions that help us to understand the meaning you give to your experiences. This enables us to explore novel ways of approaching and thinking about your unique concerns.

• refusal and resistance
• lack of motivation
• anxiety and depression
• school refusal
• academic success
• peer/social issues
• parent-child conflict
